  Staff here are always friendly and very accommodating, especially for how busy they are.
  
  My wife ordered a grande-add-shot-thing-with-an-extra-dealio-plus-some-stuff and got something else. The barista was quick to make it right and did it with a smile.
  
  Also generous with the bathroom key.
  And also cool when my 2-year-old grabs stuff off the shelves and says "i'll have this!" It's cute but he never has cash.

  It's tough to be a Starbucks barista inside of a Safeway!
  
  Not only do they have a tiny little workspace, but they also have to contend with grocery shoppers who expect coffee house service.
  
  No wonder they're so grumpy!
  
  Unless I'm in dire need of coffee, I try NOT to order from an in-store location. Rather, I go to a free standing Starbucks instead.
  
  You will get your drink here...eventually. Just don't be in a rush to go anywhere anytime soon.
  
  Next time, I'll check Yelp and go to the highest rated nearby location!

  First ordered decaf pumpkin spice latte, repeated 3 times because he kept forgetting. While making the drink I was unconvinced he remembered decaf so I asked if he got that It was decaf, he said, no but I can make it decaf if you want haha. Oh god. Then I ordered the new pumpkin cream cold brew. The description reads: sweetened with vanilla syrup, topped with pumpkin cream cold foam and pumpkin spice topping. I got cold brew with 2% milk and some pumpkin spice syrup squirted in. Hahaha oh my god, this poor guy. It hurt to watch and see him struggle. Obviously they are very untrained and allowed to do whatever they feel like.

  Placed my mobile order at 9:39. At 9:48, someone finally asked me if I was waiting for something. I placed my order while already in line because the line was moving slowly and I thought it would save me time and the person behind me. There was only 1 person ahead of me (I finished my order before they finished theirs) and one behind me-even more reason It should not have taken long. 9:54 I got my order-ps I didn't even have an espresso drink I had green tea which involves pouring pre-made tea, adding water, shaking together, and putting in a cup....should not have taken that long at all.
  
  The girl that made my tea was quite possibly the clumsiest barista I've ever seen. In the time I was waiting, she spilled the contents of the blender, knocked several lids down while reaching for one, knocked over the whip cream, and knocked over a cup that was mostly empty. She was wearing gloves which I thought was strange- not sure if she had allergies or an open wound or was just a germaphobe, but I am HOPING the gloves were temporary and the reason why she was clumsy. Kind of bothered me that she would still use the tipped over cups even though they were in the spilled mess, she would wipe everything down with a rag and then use the same gloved hand to pick up the cups (picked up by touching the inside of the cup), etc. just didn't seem sanitary!
  
  I have been to this Starbucks before and I like that there are often dogs outside and a nice covered seating area, but overall it's not conducive to sitting and studying and their staff isn't the greatest or friendliest.

  this place is surrounded by retirees which is a great place to support retirees but if you're in a hurry for a cuppa coffee good luck! they take their time and because they are so, I repeat, so slow, no sense of urgency whatsoever. When you're ready for retirement you know what Starbucks to hang out at
